Mrs. Ada Elizabeth Byford Beshearse, 85, died at Williamson County Hospital Oct. 12 after an illness of nine days. Funeral services were held Oct. 13 at Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Clifton Scott and the Rev. Fowler Montgomery in charge. Burial Was in Banks Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late George and Caroline Hildreth Byford, and was a member of Banks Church. Survivors are a son, Lonnie Void Beshearse of Smithville; six daughters, Mrs. Ida Smithson, Mrs. Beatrice Waggoner and Mrs. Novella Arnold of Smithville; Mrs. Mae Carver of Lebanon; Mrs. Nola Smithson and Mrs. Bertha Hollandsworth of Franklin; three brothers, Hiram and George Byford of Smithville and Robert Byford of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Blair of Woodbury and Mrs. P. F. Langston of Nashville, and 19 grandchildren. Walker Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. SMITHVILLE REVIEW, Smithville, TN., October 28, 1960.
