Faye T. Sherrell, of Oxford, AR, was the daughter of the late, William Franklin (Willie) Ballard and Georgia Lee Helm Ballard. She was born in Oxford, AR. She died at the Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, AR at the age of 91. She was united in marriage to Eldridge Tim Sherrell on Dec. 30, 1933. To this union five children were born. She was a CNA and a member of the Oxford Baptist Church. Survivors include: her children, Donnie Sherrell (Pat), Billie Prewett (Wayne, Lena Dockins (Billy) and Pam Johnson (Joe); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, including her twin sister Rhea Singleton and Lois Blevins; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband; a daughter, Joyce Bryant; a great-grandson, Jessie Dockins; a brother, Dora Ballard and her parents. Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at the Oxford Baptist Church with burial in Oxford Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem, AR.
