Actor. The younger brother of "Get Smart" actor Don Adams, he was born in New York City of Hungarian and Irish descent. He appeared on the television series "Get Smart", "Mork and Mindy", "Laverne and Shirley", "Emergency", and a host of other popular television programs. His movies include "The Kentucky Fried Movie" (1977), "A Guide for the Married Woman" (1978). "Carpool" (1983) and "Movers and Shakers" (1985). A military veteran, and an inveterate horse player like his brother, Dick was married to actress Alice Borden. Originally formed to cheer an ailing Yarmy during his bout with cancer, a group of comedians fondly called "Yarmy's Army" still perform at charity events in his memory.
