Datha M. Gamble Exline, 97, of Van Wert, died 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Vancrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born Oct. 2, 1906 in Van Wert to Clarence and Minnie (Hatfield) Judkins.
In 1927 she married W. Glenn Gamble, who died in 1956. In 1959 she married Charles W. Exline, who died in 1994.
Survivors include two step sons, James W. and Robert L. Exline of Van Wert; two nieces, Susan Estill Linton of Van Wert and Betsy Estill Brotherton of New Haven, Ind.; three step grandchildren and several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, J. Robert Gamble and a sister, Elizabeth Estill Robeson.
Mrs. Gamble Exline had been a manager at the Ohio State Employment Service Office, Van Wert, from 1941-1951 and was later affiliated with Clark?s Shoe Store, Van Wert. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert, and a former member of Delphos Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Van Wert Women?s Club, Van Wert Visiting Nurses Auxiliary, Van Wert County Historical Society, United Federation of Dolls Club and Madison Area Doll Club.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Edward Jillson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
