She was born in the Plainview Community, to John William and Ora Ethel (Elms) Kelley, she married Elva "E.L." Bolding on Dec. 7, 1942, in McAlester. She was a longtime active member of the North "A" Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, going to church and her family. She made her career in the nursing field. In 1948, she helped turn the Albert Pike hospital into a nursing home in Holdenville. She then worked for Laughton Hospital in El Reno until 1955. She and her husband returned to McAlester in 1965. She worked at several nursing homes in McAlester before retiring from the McAlester Nursing Center in 1999. Survivors include her husband, E.L. Bolding, of the home; sons, Dennis Bolding, of McAlester, Chad Bolding and wife, RoxAnna, of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Eric Bolding and wife, Stacey, of McAlester, Angie Bolding-Martin and husband, James, of the home, Misty Reese, of Roland, Jason Bolding, of McAlester, Nickie Bolding, of Tulsa, Brandon Bolding, of McAlester. And, great-grandchildren, Cayden Marie Martin, Colter James Martin, Cabe Dillon Martin, of the home, Trenton Lee Bolding, Chaseton Lee Bolding, Gavin Lee Bolding, all of McAlester, Brayden Austyn Reese, Kyler Dawn Reese, both of Roland and Brayden and Ty Hoffman, of McAlester; brother, Junior Kelley and wife, Martha; special friend, Ellen Yates and husband, Forrest, of El Reno, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Kelley; brothers, J.T. Kelley, Hubert Kelley, and sisters, Dorothy Watts, Delphia Maddox and Mae Crowson. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Kidney Foundation. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chaney's Memorial Chapel with Gerald Heggie officiating. Burial will be at Pryor Cemetery, Stuart, under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.
