Jason G. Eichelberger, born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on May 2, 1972, died tragically in a motorcycle accident in Escondido, California, on Friday, May 22, 2009.

Jason graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1990 and from Greensboro College in 1994 with a BA in Visual Arts.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle (nee Minor); son, Vaughn, 6, and daughter, Areya, 2; parents, Cathy and Larry Eichelberger of North Garden; and brother, Chris and his wife, Ann Hively Eichelberger, and their two children, Sophie, 10, and John, 8, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and by his college roommate and close friend, Jack Yongue of Palm Harbor, Florida.

Jason was a Residential Advisor at San Pasqual Academy in Escondido, California, and was greatly respected and loved by both students and staff.

In memoriam, friends and well-wishers who are able are invited to donate blood in his honor to Virginia Blood Services or other available blood bank; or make a donation to the Memorial Account For The Children of Jason Eichelberger at P.O. Box 299, Old Dominion National Bank, North Garden, Virginia 22959.

Services were previously held in Escondido, California.
