Jarris May Campbell Vandertoolen passed away surrounded by her family.


She was born in Tetonia, Idaho to Bryant G. Campbell and Almedia Fullmer.


She married John A. Vandertoolen in the Salt Lake Temple on August 24, 1956.


She spent many hours attending activities with her family which she enjoyed. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, where she served in many callings. Jarris served with her husband in the Belgium Antwerp Mission in 1991, served in the Jordan River Temple and loved doing family research. She was talented in sewing, needlepoint, doll making, and gardening to name a few.


Survived by her husband; children, Kerrie (LaVelle) Prince, Brenda (Jeffrey) Landeen, Nathan (Bonnie), Gayla (Brian) Curtis, Vickie (Jonathon) Tuttle, and Ryan (Tiffany); 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Brookshire Ward Chapel, 1325 West 5550 South. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to the services.
