Husband of Martha Gaston (daughter of William Gaston Jr. and Jane McMillan). Children of William and Martha were Hiram, Missouri, Jennet, William and Samuel. William and Samuel appear to die a few days apart in Marion County, Illinois in 1858 -- presumably on a visit to relatives there? They are young, and are buried at Old Covenanter Cemetery near Walnut Hill.
