Harry Bowen Dies After An Illness Of Several Months
Harry Bowen died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Bowen, southwest of Warsaw, on Monday evening at 10:30 o’clock. His death followed an illness of six months, during which he underwent four operations, and was due to a complication of diseases. The deceased was 22 years of age. He was a graduate of the Warsaw high school and was a member of Company H, having served with the Warsaw company on the Mexican border. He was employed for some time as stamp clerk at the Warsaw post office. He was a member of Forrest Lodge Knights of Pythias.
Besides his parents he leaves five sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Harry Kinsey, of Claypool; Mrs. Moody Sleighter, of Pierceton; Mrs. Jesse Deckard, of Thunder Hawk, S.D. ; Miss Irma Bowen, Miss Gladys Bowen, Lester Bowen, Roy Bowen, Merle Bowen, of Thunder Hawk, S.D. and Joe Bowen.
The funeral serviced will be conducted at the Walnut Creek Church on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by Rev. J. W. Lower. Burial will be made at the Union Chapel Cemetery.
