Born in Elizabeth, NJ, September 28, 1937, son of the late Eric W. Ericson, Sr. and Caryl E. Alexander Ericson, he had resided in Kingwood Township for almost forty-five years, having previously lived in Readington Township, NJ.
A former farmer in Readington Township, NJ, Mr. Ericson worked for over thirty-eight years as a Research Technologist for Johnson & Johnson, Raritan, NJ and in 1976, he was the recipient of the Vice President Award for Research. He was also a former Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America in Kingwood Township, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Gailjoan Barberich Ericson; three sons, Eric W. Ericson III of Stockton, NJ, Thor P. Ericson of Kingwood Township, NJ and Christopher G. Ericson of Phillipsburg, NJ; a daughter, Katherine F. Ericson of Kiwanee, IL; two brothers, Thomas Ericson of Hardy, AR and Edward Ericson of Evening Shade, AR; a sister, Caryl Ann Mussig of St. James, MO; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
