Funeral Of Former Resident Held Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Curry, who resided at 2082 Carroll Ave., St. Paul, Minn., were conducted from the Methodist church in this village Monday afternoon, January 9, at 2 o'clock, Rev. John Blackhurst officiating.
The deceased underwent an operation for carcimona of the stomach at the Northern Pacific hospital on Nov. 3, where she passed away after an illness of two months at 9:50 p.m., Wednesday, January 4th.
Agnes Norum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Norum, and widow of Gordon N. Curry, was born in Pennsylvania, on Nov. 17, 1883. She grew to womanhood and spent the greater portion of her life in this village, leaving Mora for St. Paul about ten years ago, where she had since resided. At the time of her death she was 44 years, 1 month and 17 days old. Her many friends in this village were grieved to hear of her sudden passing.
Three brothers, namely, Harold of Morristown, Minn., Hilmer of St. Paul, and Charles of Mora, survive, besides a step - father, Alex Johnson, who resided in the west, and she leaves a host of friends.
Interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
