Spence Alford, 87, of Brookhaven died Feb. 3, 1994, at King's Daughters Hospital.
Funeral services were held Feb. 5 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Alford, the son of the late James Alexander Alford and Mary Palmer Alford, was a retired golf pro from Brookhaven County Club. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and had served in the Air Force during World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Errol Hayes Alford of Brookhaven; two daughters, Mary Carol A. Pepper of West Monroe, La., and Catherine A Becker of Madison; and one grandson.
Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Crystal Springs with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
