Michael A. Anderson, 32, passed away on May 26, 2009 in Shelton where he was born on May 4, 1977.

He resided in Olympia and lived in Shelton from 1977 to 1988. Michael moved to Seabeck, WA in Kitsap County in 1988.

He lived in East Skagit County from 1990 to 2005. Michael attended South Side School in Shelton, Central Kitsap Junior High School and Concrete High School where he met and married Alexa Mitchell.

They resided in Concrete until 2005. He worked at Kaaland Mill in Hamilton-Concrete area for about 7 years. He also worked at lumber mills in Shelton and was employed at IHOP restaurant in Olympia at the time of his death.

Michael's hobbies and interests included motorcycles and motocross riding, woodworking, metal working, welding and building things like motorcycles and go carts, designing them and making run and go fast, most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, camping, fishing, being in the outdoors, music, singing, animals, baseball, he loved life and was best known for always laughing and smiling.

He is survived by his parents Deborah Kay Banks and Ervin O. Banks who reside in Port Orchard, WA, his children Brandon Anderson of Rochester, WA, Sydney Anderson of Great Falls, MT, Kenya Anderson of Olympia, WA, brother Christopher Anderson (Jacki) of Shelton, two sisters: Lisa Croke (Michael) of Oak Harbor, WA, Brenda Banks of Port Orchard, WA , friend and companion Kimberly Johnson of Olympia, WA, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents James L. Hansen of Port Orchard, WA and Patricia L. Moore of Shelton, WA, Jim and Violet Dillard of Concrete and his beloved Aunt Donna Lee Casteel/Beck of Bremerton.

Visitation will be held at McComb Funeral Home in Shelton, WA on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm.
The memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in Port Orchard, WA on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 am.
Inurnment service will be at Shelton Memorial Park, Shelton, WA.

Memorial donations may be sent to the benevolent fund set up at Peninsula Credit Union 521 W. Railroad Ave. Shelton, WA 98584.
