Wedgeport: We announce the death of Edward Robert Boudreau, native of Wedgeport, occurred on Monday, September 10th, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Nectaire Boudreau and the late Elizabeth Clements. He leaves to mourn one daughter, Phyllis of Cape Cod, Mass; two sons, Robert of New Hampshire and Louis of Sandwich, Mass; as well as one brother, Ernest of Lower Wedgeport; five sisters, Benita (Mrs. Don Porter) of Yarmouth, Geneviève (Mrs. Edgar Deveau) of Mendon, Mass, Joséphine LeBlanc of Cape Pélé, May Carpenter of Chelsea, Mass and Émilie Melanson of Revere, Mass, and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Hattie d'Eon; by four brothers, Clayton, Wilfred and two children and by a sister, Angèle. The body was in Huskilson's Funeral Home in Wedgeport. The funeral was held on Wednesday, September 12th, with funeral service at Saint Michael's Church. Father Roland Soucie officiated. Interment was in a cemetery in Cape Cod.
