Barney Simmers, was born Aug. 20, 1870, and
departed this life at the home of his sister
near Antwerp, Ohio, March 24, 1939, aged
68 years, 7 months, and 4 days. He leaves to
mourn his departure two sisters: Mrs. Lyda
Donat, with whom he made his home for the
last thirty-five years, and Mrs. Florence Horn
of Hicksville, Ohio; and many other relatives
and friends. He was of a quiet disposition,
kind and helpful about the home. Funeral
services were held March 26 at 2:00 p.m.
at West Union Church, conducted by Rev.
H. H. Fisher; with interment in the Antwerp
Cemetery. Scripture text used was
