Obituary from The Montana Standard:

Judith "Judi" Lucile (Bingaman) Rowe was called home to Heaven on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.

Judi was born to Oliver and Maybelle "Ruth" Bingaman on Oct. 21, 1942, in Missoula. She and her family moved to Butte when she was young. She graduated from Butte High School.

Judi celebrated life, triumphed many times over health issues, and shared three children with her husband of 47 years, James Rowe.

She was a lifelong member of the Butte Church of the Nazarene and was a mighty "Prayer Warrior" for her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, church family, and many others throughout her life. A day did not pass that she didn't spend time in prayer.

We cherish each memory she made with us, especially the ones made at "The River House," and are proud to have had the privilege of having her as mom, grandma, nana, great nana, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Esther and Ruby Bingaman.

She is survived by her husband, James; sister, Joyce Jensen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Myra Bingaman, and Mel and Anita Bingaman; brothers, Paul Bingaman and Al Bingaman and special friend, Sue Greenwood; brother-in-law, Fred and wife, Marie Anne Rowe; sisters-in-law, Betty Rowe and Barbara Rowe. Other surviving family includes her children, Michelle and Rick Varady and their children, Allyson, RJ and Christina, Adam, Erik, Matt and Becky, and Shawn; Mark and Lisa Rowe and their son, Alan; Craig and Loretta Rowe and their children, Jacob and Madison; great-grandchildren, Bailee, Austin and Brynn Varady, Abigail Varady, Meredith Varady, Pamela, Diondra, and Isabella Rees, Kolby and Mackenzy Rees, Brayden Rees, Mylee Rees, and Colten Hoyt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Judi's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home, where friends may call beginning at 5 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Abundant Life Fellowship Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, Judi requested donations to the New Hope Pregnancy Crisis Center in Butte.
