She was born January 6, 1954, in Charlottesville, the daughter of the late Harold Smith Cox and Lorraine Breeden Cox.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Howard Carl Legg of Gordonsville; her daughters, Leslie Ann Baumgardner of Charlottesville, and Pamela Sue Tillman and her husband, John, of Barboursville; a son, Rodney Ray Maynor and his wife, Mary, of Charlottesville; a sister, Gloria Jane Walker and her friend, Ray Dean, of Haywood; three brothers, Harold Wade Cox and his wife, Shirley, of Orange, Robert Smith Cox of Ruckersville and Gerald Randall Cox Sr. of Louisa; two close friends, Jerri Lynn Payne of Madison, Lizy Gachenour of Culpeper; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 20, 2009, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison conducted by Pastor Larry Morris, with interment at the Breeden family cemetery in Ruckersville.
