Funeral services for Alberta Gene Elliott, 96, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in Lake Charles Bible Church.

The Rev. Phil Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.

Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Mrs. Elliott died at 1:35 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, in her residence.

A native of Goldendale, WA, she was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was a former manager of the Beauty Salon at Maison Blanche in New Orleans. She and her late husband were the co-owners and operators of Elliott Tire Service for 30 years. She was a longtime member of Lake Charles Bible Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Elliott Brown and Mrs. Dennis (Carla Elliott) Guillory, both of Lake Charles, and Mrs. Kenneth (Eddy Gene Elliott) Bruce of Ragley; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, Shriners Burn Hospital or to the charity of one's choice, the familvsaid.
