Christopher "Kamikaze" David Jones, 14, of Crofton, died on May 30 near his residence.
He was born Oct. 27, 1994, in Silver Spring. He attended South River High School.
His interests included hockey, football, paintball, swimming, riding his dirt bike and playing his PS3. Chris was loved by all his friends. He enjoyed helping people, and at school, he would help a disabled friend to get prepared for his school day.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Lenox.
Chris is survived by his parents, David L. Jones and Jennifer S. Adkins, both of Crofton; his stepfather, Paul Adkins of Crofton; his sister, Carrie Jones of Crofton; and his grandparents, Sharon Lenox of Crofton, and Joe and Judy Manning of Westminster.
Attended Arundel and South River High Schools.
