Delbert Fayette of 98 Pine Street died yesterday afternoon at his home following a long illness. He would have been 63 years old Oct. 7. Mr, Fayette had served one enlistment with Company B of the Fifth Infantry of the United States Army when it was stationed at Plattsburg Barracks.

He is survived by his widow; two sons, George and Elmer
Fayette of Plattsburg: a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Martelli of Canton, Ohio; a brother, Edmund Fayette of Malone. a granddaughter and three grandsons. Services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St John's church here. Interment will be made In the family plot in Mount Carmel cemetery.

The granddaughter was Nancy Lee Fayette, the daughter of Elmer and Beatrice (Tamer) Fayette.
Norman G. Fayette should have been listed as a grandson, also the child of Elmer and Beatrice. He was born 17 Aug 1941.

The three grandsons listed were Robert V., Gerald A, and Richard D. Martelli sons of Pearl Fayette and Vernon Martelli.
