Born on July 27, 1927 in York, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorcas (Trimmer) Rexroad. She is survived by four sons, Larry E. Caswell of Tucson, Ariz., Gary L. Caswell of York, Warren L. Caswell of York and Richard A. Caswell of Littlestown; one daughter, Sherry E. Blankenship of York; a granddaughter, who she raised, Pamela Caswell of York; two brothers, William Rexroad of Virginia and James Rexroad of Florida; four grandsons, Larry E. Caswell, Jr., and Joseph Caswell, both of Tucson, Ariz., Joseph Thomas of York and Derek Caswell of Manchester; three granddaughters, Jill Thomas, Elizabeth Caswell and Carol Caswell, all of York; and three great grandchildren David Lauer,Rhianna Caswell and Brandon Caswell.
She attended York High and worked at Danskin as a floor lady, from which she retired. She loved to shop and cook and was very kind and willing to help anyone.
The viewing will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St., York and a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, followed by an 11 a.m. service, at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Stambaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market Street, York, PA 17403 to help defray funeral costs.
