BOYD: Kevin M. Stone, 46, an auto paint and body repairman died on Monday, June 1, 2009 in Decatur.
Kevin was born December 14, 1962 in Winona, Mississippi to Jack Melton and Winogene (Oates) Stone.
Kevin is preceded in death by his stepfather George Mayfield and father Jack Stone.
Survivors include his mother, Winogene Mayfield; sons, Kevin Stone Jr. and wife Chelsea, Robert Stone, Alex Stone, and Daniel Stone and their mother Jina Stone. One granddaughter, Mandy Stone of Boyd; three brothers, Jackie Stone of Aurora, Doug May-field and wife Cathy of Welch, Oklahoma, and Tim Mayfield of San Francisco, California; three sisters, Lanai Gillott and husband Tim of Decatur, Dorrie Mayfield of Azle, Darla Davis and husband Gary of New Fairview and nieces and nephews.
Funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Boyd Church of Christ. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Officiating was Brother Eddie Montgomery. Pallbearers were Jack Stone, Jackie Stone, Craig Rasberry, Robert Reitnauer, Tim Gillott, Dennis Sanders, Robert Rowland and Mark Munn. Honorary Pallbearer was Jeff Mayhue.
