CASHMERE. Wash., Feb. 9.- Funeral services for Hewitte S. Abbott, who died at his Cashmere home Sunday following a heart attack, will be 2 p. m., Wednesday in the Kuelbs and Braun chapel.
Rites will be conducted by the Rev. Alvin Fischer, with burial in the Cashmere cemetery. Mr. Abbott was born in Lockhart, Texas, and married Winnie Lee Davis at Ennis, Texas in 1919. They came to Washington in 1943, settling first at Dryden, four miles west of Cashmere, and moved to Cashmere in 1950.
He was employed by the Independent Warehouse at Dryden as a bookkeeper. Mr. Abbott was a member of the Cashmere Baptist church. He is survived by the widow, Winnie, at the home; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Barnes, Cashmere; one brother; a sister, and two granddaughters.
