The former Doris Stalker was born on July 6, 1916 in Malita, Michigan to Fred Stalker and Elizabeth (Burghon) Stalker.
Doris moved to Greenbush in 1952 from the Flint area. She was a former member of the Greenbush Chamber of Commerce and a former member of The Westminster Presbyterian Church of Harrisville.
Her husband Angus Franklin preceded her in death in 1952.
In 1994 she moved to Columbiaville.
Doris was also preceded in death by her son Richard Torok in 1999.
She was survived by her step daughter, Barbara (Albert) Jenkins of St. Helens and her 4 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
