Donald J. Amig, 80, formerly of Allendale, Camp Hill, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Country Meadows, Hampden Twp.

He retired from the West Shore School District as an Algebra teacher at Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill; was a graduate of Penn State University; a U.S. Army Veteran; and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Highland Park, Camp Hill.

Mr. Amig was born March 27, 1928, in Lewistown, and was the son of the late John C., Jr. and Daisy (Clare) Amig. He was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Amig III.

Surviving are his wife, Zola (Robinson) Amig; a son, Kurt B. Amig of Enola; three daughters, Lee McGann of State College, Shawn Salvia of Boalsburg, and Jo Amig of New Cumberland; a brother, Alden Amig of New Cumberland; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, at the Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Joel D. Petruschke, his pastor officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
