He was the son of Irvin Tillman Orr and Elma Emma McCoy. He Joined US Army on 12 Dec 1941 and attained the rank of Cpl. Henry Served in WW2 from 12 Dec 1941 to the end of the war. He was in the Army Air Corps. He married Mazo Grace Quick in 1951, Randolph County, Arkansas. They had three Children. Michael Allen Orr, Smiley Alphonso Orr, and Jo-Ellen Mae Orr.
