Virginia Montague Harris, 97, of Virgilina Rd., died Sunday, February 4, 2001, at Person Memorial Hospital. Born in Person Co., she was daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Carr Montague and wife of the late George Kitchin Harris. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harris is survived by two sons, Dolian Harris and George E. Harris, both of Roxboro; five brothers, John Montague, of Angier, Arch Montague, of Apex, and Fred Montague, Garland Montague, and Guthrie Montague, all of Raleigh; two sisters, Lucille Bullock and Lillian Partin, both of Raleigh; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
