Martha was the daughter of John Bedford, Jr. and Elizabeth Burke Howard. She married her second cousin, Archibald Bedford, on Mar. 2, 1848 in Nelson Co, KY. Together, they had one son, Alexander Bedford. Martha died in childbirth.
The Bedford book states Martha was buried in the "Moriah" cemetery. It's probably Mount Mora, even though the official establish date is 1851. It was probably an unnamed burial ground before 1851.
The cemetery was walked in the spring of 2010, and no marker could be located. It is assumed that her grave is now unmarked or was never marked.
