Myrtle M. Daniels
Myrtle M. Allen Daniels, 79, Topeka, died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Daniels owned and operated M&M Supply Co. for 23 years.
She was born March 3, 1920, in Marionville, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Martha Jane Fair Hipsher. She moved with her family to the Richland and Topeka areas in 1925.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of the auxiliaries to Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 58.
She married Ethan H. Allen on Dec. 16, 1937, in Silver Lake. He died in August 1955. She later married Marvin E. Daniels in 1960. He died July 19, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Mae Brown, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Twyla Louise Beer, St. Clair, Mo.; two sons, Larry Dean Allen, Berryton, and Richard Charles Allen, Parkville, Mo.; a sister, Faye Hipsher, Topeka; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel. Burial will be in the Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Mrs. Daniels will lie in state after 9 a.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
