Ouida Marie Walker Cochran, 86, a resident of Waynesboro, MS died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at a local nursing home. She worked as a clerk at Ace Hardware Store. Mrs. Cochran is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Walker. She is survived by her son, Jerry (Mary Anne) Walker of Waynesboro, MS; Brothers, Bobby Davis of Pineville, LA, Johnny Paul Davis, Claude Ray Davis, and James Davis, all of Waynesboro; Sisters, Noma Sansing of Jackson, Earline Rogers of Alexandria, LA, Christine Taylor of Southaven; Granddaughter, Samantha Dickinson of Petal; Great-Granddaughter, Parker Dickinson of Petal. Visitation for Mrs. Cochran will be held at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro from 5 PM to 8 PM Friday, June 5, 2009. The Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro at 2 PM Saturday, June 6, 2009 with Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Wayne County, MS.
