Janette Marie Tips passed away suddenly Sunday, March 8, 2009 in Pasadena at the age of 48 years. Janette was born January 26, 1961 in Memphis, TN. She was a Christian woman who loved her husband, enjoyed spending time with family, and adored her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Janette is survived by her husband, Pat; two sons, Lionel, Jr. and George; two daughters, Sofia and Jamie; her mother, Betty Powell and step-father, Stony Powell; two brothers, Michael and Jack Dagg; three grand children Michelle, Ricky Jr., and Lionel, III; daughter-in-law, Ana; son-in-law Rick; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Niday Funeral Home, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Dagg Cemetery in Manvel.
