Mrs. Ruby B. McCambridge, 78, of 9408 Paul Dr., Clinton, Md., died Wednesday Dec. 2, 1987 at Southern Medical Hospital of Maryland (Clinton, Prince George's County, Maryland).
She was born March 9, 1909, in Augusta County, a daughter of Clifton and Eliza Coffey Truslow.
Mrs. McCambridge lived in the Waynesboro area before she moved to Clinton.
She was a member of Temple hills Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Bethany chapter.
She was employed with the railroad company, prior to her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. McCampbridge.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (JoAnn) Thomas Jr. of Clinton; two sisters, Daisy Allen and Trosy Allen, both of Afton; two grand-children and one great-granddaughter.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by Phillip R. Forehand, with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 Sunday night in the funeral home.

Note; Ruby went by "Rushie" and the obituary is in error, she was born in Massies Mill, Nelson County. She was also married to Amos Brydge in Nelson County on Oct. 27, 1928.
