Mrs. Wilhelmena Y. "Tiny" Sturdevant, 66, RD 1, Russell, died at 12:05 pm Tuesday, April 13, 1993, at Warren General Hospital.
Born April 12, 1927, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late William and Ada/Ava Burt Cronin, she lived in the Warren area most of her life. She was employed in the dietary department of Warren State Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Sturdevant on October 26, 1977; a sister Violet Roth; and two brothers, Charles and William Cronin.
Surviving are a son, William R. Sturdevant, Corry; two stepsons, Arthur F. Sturdevant and Frank W. Sturdevant, both of Clarendon; a step daughter, Roxanne Wagner, Sheffield; a sister, June Woodward, Binghamton, NY; five grandchildren, six step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home one hour prior to a 1:30 pm funeral and committal service Thursday. Dr. Delbert Jolley, retired Methodist minister, will officiate. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
