Andrew G. Bascom, father of Mrs. V.D. Loftiss of Levi Avenue, died at the home of his daughter early yesterday morning, following a long illness. He was 79.
In addition to Mrs. Loftiss he is survived by his widow, Mrs Ida Bascom; two other daughters, Mrs. J.A. Huse of Bakersfield, MO., and Mrs. M.P. Atchley of Capleville, Tenn, and a brother, the Rev. F.C. Bascom, of Boundbrook, N.J.
The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon with services and interment at Stephenson's Chapel, near Whitehaven, at 4 o'clock. J.J. Collins is in charge of arrangements.
