BLUEFIELD — Betty Ann Goins, age 70, of Route 3 Box 339, Bluefield, W.Va. passed away on Friday, June 5, 2009 at her residence.Born on April 9, 1939 in Crystal, she was a daughter of the late Orville and Sallie Mae Johnson Shilling. She had been a resident of Rt. 3, Bluefield for 40 years and was a member of the Durhing Church of Christ for 36 years, where she was a member of the Ladies MM group at the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Reva Sadler; and two brothers, Curtis and Henry Shilling.Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Walter W. Goins of the home; a daughter, Robin L. Love and husband Perry Love, Jr. of Bland, Va.; one brother, Cletis Shilling and fiance Linda Beavers of Bluefield; four sisters, Charlotte Dillon of Bluefield, Susie DeQuino of Bluefield, Carol Shilling of Elkton, Md., and Brenda Mullins of Dante, Va.; four nieces and three nephews; and three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Ministers Harold Goins and Bart Wynegar officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Leroy Mabe, Ronald Sadler, Bryan Goins, Conley Goins, Kelly Goins, and Matthew Dotson serving as pallbearers.Friends may call on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
