Mrs. Margaret Jane Butts, a life long resident of New Lexington, died Sunday morning at 3:45 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Phoebe Romaine, 808 Monumental Square, following a week's illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Butts was 81 years old. Surviving are the husband, E.A. Butts, two sons, George and Guy of New Lexington, two daughters, Mrs. Phoebe Rome and Mrs. Arthur Starner, of New Lexington, 21 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the U. B. Church, with Rev. D. V. Snyder officiating. Burial will be made in New Lexington by the C. L. Chute company.
