Louise was the daughter of the late Grover and Mary (Scott) Woodford. Miss Woodford retired in 1988 from The Daily Jeffersonian, where she had been in charge of the accounting department for 44 years. She was a life member of Byesville Assembly of God Church, where she had taught Sunday school for more than 40 years. She was a 1939 graduate of Byesville High School, and a 1941 graduate of Cambridge Business College. She was a volunteer at Southeastern Med. and was a Notary Public for many years. She enjoyed taking tour rides, knitting and was a collector. She was affectionately know as "Auntie Weeze" by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma (Woodford) Dyer, (Louise and Wilma in picture at right) and a nephew, Larry Dyer. She leaves two nephews, Carl (Pat Syme) Dyer of Byesville, and Ron (Della Treherne) Dyer of Cambridge; a niece, Mrs. Fred (Janice Dyer) Doran of Byesville; several great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great-great-nephew.
