Obituary: The Daily Courier, Connellsville, PA, Tuesday Evening, Nov. 14, 1933 Special to The Courier

Confluence, Nov. 14. Mrs. Alvira Mountain, 87 years old, was fatally injured and her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Mountain, all of this place, were severely injured about 7 o'clock Sunday evening when the automobile in which they were riding overturned on Route 53 Between Confluence and Somerset. The machine is reported to have slipped from the roadway to the wet shoulder, the mud causing the car to upset.

Mrs. Alvira. Mountain was so badly injured that she died two hours later in Frantz Hospital here. Mrs. L. L. Mountain is still a patient there, but her condition is not regarded as serious. Mr. Mountain, although severely injured, is able to be about.

Mrs. Mountain's only survivor is her son, together with three grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at her late residence. Interment will be in Addison Cemetery.
