Mr. Babler was born March 26, 1916, in Portland. He served in the U. S. Navy Seabees. He was involved in road construction for 46 years with Babler Bros. Inc. In 1966, he married Margaret.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Linda Hewitt of Clark Fork, Idaho, Nancy Day of Estacada, Connie Babbitt of Milwaukie and Vicki Oviatt of Medford; sons, Wayne Schweikl of Klamath Falls and Richard Schweikl of Portland; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Crown Cremation.

He married Virginia P. Arnold in 1940. They were later divorced in 1965. They had three daughters: Bonnie, Linda and Nancy. Bonnie preceded him in death in 1968.
He worked 46 years with Babler Bros. Inc. building roads throughout Oregon and in Alaska. In 1966 he married Margaret V. Mathias.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Linda Hewitt of Clark Fork, Idaho, Nancy Day of Estacada; stepdaughters, Connie Babbitt of Milwaukie, Vicki Oviatt of Medford; stepsons, Wayne Schweikl of Klamlath Falls and Richard Schweikl of Portland; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were by Crown Cremation.
