He was a native of New Albany, a riverboat captain for American Commercial Barge Lines in Jeffersonville, and a member of the National Turkey Federation.
Survivors include his wife, the former Suzie Duvall, a daughter, Christy L. Sorrels, a son, Dustin M. Sorrels, his mother, Clea M. Sorrels, his father, Morgan Sorrels, a sister, Debbie Hoffman, a brother, Clinton Sorrels, and his grandfather, Al Leffler.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Kraft Funeral Home, with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery.
