Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Nov. 18, for Jesse D. Butler, Marietta, at the Chapel of J. Cowan Whitley Co. The Revs. Bobby Moore and Ed Jones officiated. Internment was in Douglasville cemetery.

Mr. Butler died Nov. 6, and is survived by his wife, the former Joyce Ergle, daughters, Mrs. Jimmy Marcus Jr., Miss Vicky Butler, son, Dale Butler, Marietta; Mother, Mrs. Ruby Butler, Douglasville; brothers, Freddie Butler, Winston; Frank Butler, Valdosta, Mrs. Sarah Hicks, Douglasville.
