I asked for transfer of Jim's memorial page to update him and link him with his wife and children, that can be very hard to do when someone else holds the memorial.
I first find Jim on the 1880 Lincoln Co. TN census in his parents home age 5 listed as James W. Bolin. His parents were Martin (Mark) and Nancy Pierce Bolin. I know very little about his mother other than his death cert. gives her name, she died about 1887 and is most likely buried in this Blanche cemetery too in an unmarked grave.
Jim's next record is his marriage as Jas. Bolin to Era Pool in Lincoln Co. TN on Aug. 7, 1898. His next record is the 1900 Lincoln Co. TN census as Jim Bolin age 25 and wife Eria age 23, 1st marriage for both, married 2 yrs., 0 children born, 0 children living.
Jim's next record is the 1910 Lincoln Co. TN census as James Bolin, age 35, wife Minnie age 32, that has to be wife Evira, maybe Minnie was a nickname. The census taker might have misunderstood her name or maybe someone gave her name wrong to the census taker. The children listed are Frank, Clarence, Mattie, Altie H. and Alma Lucille who were twins. I know these were all Jim & Evira's children via their death records.
So far I've not been able to find James/Jim or wife Evira on the 1920 census nor any of their children.
Jim's grave marker has he died in 1928 but his death cert. clearly has 1922 as does all death records of him in Tenn. I believe someone must have put the grave marker down much later after his and wife Evira's death for the marker looks too new to have been as old as when they both died. It's apparent that the person who put the grave marker on their graves didn't research to find out their true death years so I've put a death cert. copy on Jim and Evira's memorial pages to prove their true death years.
