The News Observer, Vienna, GA: 25 Oct 1990: Mr. Bledsoe:
Lyndon Brittain Bledsoe Sr., 62, of Pinehurst died Monday, Oct. 15, 1990 at his residence. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 17 from Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home chapel in Vienna.
Minister Paul Lester officiated, and burial was in the Vienna City Cemetery. Mrs. Jane Mason provided soft organ music, and pallbearers were Herman Clyde Willingham, Richard Talton, Gene Shugart, Sidney Bledsoe Jr., Richard Watson and David Bowers.
A native of Dooly County, Mr. Bledsoe was a supervisor with Dairy Herds Improvement Association and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Jacqueline Williams Bledsoe, Pinehurst; five daughters, Karen Edalgo, Byron, Christie Black, Martinez, Nancy Johnson, Cordele, Debra Shugart, Vienna, Connie Henry, Warwick; two sons, Lyndon Bledsoe Jr., Marietta and Ronnie Bledsoe, Hawkinsville; two brothers, Herschel Bledsoe, Pinehurst and Sidney Bledsoe, Perry; four sisters, Ruby Bledsoe, Milledgeville, Nettie Lou Rowe, Augusta, Sara Bowers and Mary Jo Woodruff, both of Fort Valley.
Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
