She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and had been active in church work, where she was an organist and a member of the choir. Also one of the charter members of the Women's Missionary Society. Mrs. Bell was a worker in the Washington county Chapter of the American Red Cross, and civic affairs in this community.
Besides her husband, survivors are: daughters, Mrs. Edward Woodall, Baltimore; Miss Sadie B Troxell, Williamsport; grandchildren, Edward McClay, Norris B, John E, and Lynwood Woodall, of Baltimore, and Mrs. Edward W Merryman, of Catonsville, Md; a brother, J Walter Fleming, Silver Spring.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 pm at the home, 41 E Potomac St, with the Rev W C Huddle officiating.
Interment in River View Cemetery, Williamsport.
