Date of Birth CALCULATED based on Aged at death on headstone of 26 years, 11 months, 22 days and also changing Date of Death to year 1868 as shown - partly illegible but both '8s' are the same. For DOB correction: allrecords on file show born abt 1841 or 1842 which includes 1850 and 1860 census and 2 Civil War records showing age. For DOD correction: Civil War record also shows mustered out after POW on 8 Jun 1865. There are also Probate Affidavit records dated 14 Feb 1868 for his estate.
