Born April 9, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Max and Anna Shema Christel, of town Eaton, Manitowoc County.
On October 12, 1946, Stasia was united in marriage to LeRoy E. Wiegand at St. Gregory Church Rectory in St. Nazianz.
Stasia is survived by two daughters, Leonie and Marlene; three sons, Gary, Mark, and Lee; a daughter and son-in-law, June Wiegand of Howards Grove and Robert (Buck) Keranen of Cleveland. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Simon, Christel, Jeremy, Robert, Anna Marie, and Brian; one great-grandchild, Maurice; one sister-in-law, Marion Christel of Kiel.
Preceding her in death are her husband, LeRoy; an infant daughter, Christina; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Wiegand; two sisters, Reyneldis Schuler and Colletta Salm; one brother, Lambert Christel.
Burial at the Saxon Cemetery, Town Centerville, Manitowoc County.
