PLAINFIELD -Gilbert L. Gervais, 19, of 205 Cemetery Rd., died Saturday. He was born October 1, 1986 in Putnam, the beloved son of Gilbert and Karen (Lefevre) Gervais of Plainfield and was a lifelong resident. Gilbert was a 2004 graduate of Plainfield High School, where he played football. He was active in Youth Soccer and Baseball in the Town of Plainfield. Gilbert was very interested in Electronics.
Besides his parents he leaves two sisters, Kristine M. Gervais and Michelle L. Gervais both of Plainfield; His paternal Grandfather, Gilbert J. Gervais of New London; His paternal Grandmother, Josiane Downs of Kentucky; his Maternal grandfather Leo J. Lefevre Sr. of Thompson; Also several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. John The Apostle Church, Plainfield. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours at Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd., Plainfield are Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm.
