Anchorage - Mrs. Elsie Crawl Adams, 57 of Anchorage, Clearfield, wife of Howard A Adams, died yesterday in the Dee Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. adams was a member of the Southern baptist Church in Clearfield.

She moved to Utah in 1941 from Nunn, Colorado., and was formerly employed at the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot.

She was born Jan. 18, 1898, in Brumley, Mo., a daughter of Samuel W. and Ellen P. Brown Crawl.

On March 23, 1935, she was married to Mr. Adams in Boulder, Colorado.

Surviving are her husband, Anchorage; on son; Leslie H. Adams, U.S. Navy; one daughter; Mrs. Garnett E. Leauchard, Long beach, Calif.; two stepsons; William E. Page and Daryl Ferry, Roy; two stepdaughters: Mrs. Allie Kopplinger, Roy, and Mrs. Alma Page, Ogden: 16 grandchildren. One brother and two sisters: Herman Crawl, El Paso, Tex.: Mrs. W.H. Parish, Decaturville, Mo., and Mrs. edna Anderson, Richland, Mo.

Funeral services will be announced by the Sunset Mortuary in Clearfield.
