Orie W. Bard
Word has been received of the death of Orie W. Bard of Cygnet, Ohio, on February 15,1963. He was born in Germany Valley, November 18, 1888, a son of the late Alfred and Matilda Briggs Bard. Surviving are his wife, the former Annie Wakefield and three children: Glen Bard, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Ruth (Mrs. Carl Buchanan), North Baltimore, Ohio; Esther (Mrs. Eli Stockwell), Rudoph, Ohio. One son preceded him in death. These brothers and sisters survive: Roy Bard, Mount Union; Herman Bard, Newton Hamilton; Lorma (Mrs. E.J. Hall), Brockway; Mrs. Dessie Faust, Mount Union; Mrs. Edna Brandt, Mount Union. Funeral services were held at Bloom Center Church of God Monday, February 18, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Paul J. Gnagy officiating. Interment in the Weaver Cemetery at Cygnet.
