Webb City, Mo. Dec. 27 - Alexander McFair (misspelled), 60 years old, a former resident of Oronogo, died at 3 o'clock this afternoon at his home on East Fifth street. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise McFair; four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Silver of Idaho, Mrs. Will Cresswell of Picher, Okla., Mrs. Kate McKee of Treece, Kan., and Mrs. Marie Webb of Prosperity, and three sons, George McFair of Seneca, Donald McFair of Joplin and James McFair of Washington. Two sisters, Mrs. Maggie McDonald and Mrs. Kate Miller of Canada, also survive.

Through distant relatives in Canada, I found that grgrandpa Alex was first married to Jane Carson in Canada. She died very young. They had one son that was left with Jane's family and grew up in Canada.
